On October 1, in a small office in Canada's "Golden Horseshoe", DPI flung open-the doors of our new Toronto office. A team of four--Doug Prensler (Sales
Rep), Warren Baker (Systems Engineer), Doug Hofman and Steve Ogar (Field Lngineers)--provide the Canadian extension of DPI's service and support.
Canadian-born Doug "Shooter" Prensler, a 15-year veteran of Singer, is very optimistic about the prospective business in his patch. He estimates
that there are 200 companies with the potential and the need for source data collection capabilities. The industry representation is basically Primary
Steel, Agricultural Equipment (DPI customer, Massey Ferguson, is Canada's largest manufacturer of farm and construction equipment), Aircraft and a
large number of American subsidiaries such as Ford, GM and John Deere.
